My Model A, circa 1966, Y-Block Ford, home on leave before going to SE Asia, Army! Below is the same car after getting out of the Army, 1969, 413 Dodge, 4-speed!

27graham -- Your "before" picture looks very much like the car I built during my senior year of high school ('62-3). 1930 Coupe, full fenders, no hood, black steelies with narrow WW. Picture it with burgundy paint, and that's the same car. (Sorry, no pics remain)

A little bucket I put together

 

Mine sort of skipped the '60's. Built in the late 70's, early 50's style, it's coming back to life with more of a '60 's vibe. Think, "Big Duece" style...

 

Same owner since '63 I think

 

A new build, but I was going for a mid to late sixties vibe, with the engine set way back and mechanical injection
