Tom your starting to scare me again. You were sounded good until that last post. We don't need any strange representations in costume to put our product out into the market place.
It is good that we now have 2 young hot rodders waiting in the wings to pilot the next 2 buses we may purchase. I think maybe we can enlist Jackson on his school holidays to help GaryD to negotiate highyways, byways and backroads of the USA..

So driving down the back streets of Colfax in the bus and I look down a driveway and see 2 guys wrenching on their hot rods. I had to stop and investigate and maybe sell some eggs. They didn't look like caviar type guys..

So it's the middle of another long day behind the wheel of the big blue and white bus. The ol girl's getting a bit low on fuel so I stop in a little town at another Texaco ( I have been trying to buy Texaco when I can ). I pull in the driveway and suddenly I am alert when I see that 5W parked in the driveway. It wasn't for sale, but boy did it make my day.

Hey guys. I bought some bob drake spring shackles from the swap last weekend, gee the car on the back of the packet looks familiar.

A few weeks ago I scored an original cowl vent


A litle TLC and paint.....


..and out with the tupperware and in withanother small piece of Henry steel

 

So we have a couple of guys MIA. Any one looked them up lately?

 

Some random snaps from The Boogaloo from a couple of weekends ago, what a great weekend and great job by Des & Tesh who hosted the weekend. Hopefully this will stimulate some interest back on this great thread that Geoff has done such a great job putting together.

Also some pics from The Rattle Trap in NSW from the weekend just gone, I'm not long home and would have to say this was the best ever Hotrod event I have ever attended, it run like clock work and was the best beach ever to hold this type of event on, hopefully these random pics do it the justice it deserves, another great job by the Drag-ens who put this weekend together.

Thanks for the pics. The boogaloo was epic this year, had so much fun. Sorry, didn't take any photos of my own. I didn't even know rattletrap was happening until I saw pictures posted on Facebook but it looked like a great event with some really cool machinery.

 

Hey guys, I've been playing again.
I cut up some of the more junky parts I have in my pile to see what the chev would look like if it was channeled. I think it looks good, what do you guys reckon? P.S Geoff if you're looking, notice I've lowered the radiator shell. Much better.

 

I got the moose over on the photoshop thread to have a go at the chev and he knocked it out of the park...

 

If only you could build it now to look as good.
