The concept was so well executed and Clark and Tracy definately understand metal and design. I love the Stude trucks. I am working on a daily driver '59, and your truck is motivating me for sure. I hope this see's many enjoyable miles! Ah, yes, those coupes...

You do amazing work, great metal work!! I know exactly what you mean about removing the " pro street" ! I really love the running boards , they did exactly what you wanted. The ends of the bed and the tail lights are perfect !

Nice metal work, not a fan of the running board execution. These trucks don't have many squared off lines. I like the idea of flipping the fenders, maybee add a roll to the front of the bed to match the roll at the bottom of the door instead of the sharp angled running boards.

Any updates on this truck? I have to say, I didn't think I would, but I dig the hell out of those running boards! Way to think outside the box! All of the metalwork is top notch!

Pretty sure this is the husband and wife team at Clark Gillies Customs. If I recall correctly the beautiful lady in the pictures who posted the threads unfortunately passed away. He’s still on Instagram but haven’t seen the Stude in there.

    Hello,

Nicely done Studebaker Truck, very clean lines. Most people who customize a car or truck usually has their fingers in “pipeline” about other cars and trucks. Now, throw in a non-GM truck, like a Studebaker and the circle gets smaller. So, for the Studebaker truck enthusiasts, is this the same custom truck? Or are there two different versions of a Studebaker truck with a bullet nose running around So Cal?

Your modifications to the Studebaker truck are pretty nice. I just happen to see this custom Studebaker truck in a search for Craftsman homes. Then later on a different search, up pops this larger image of another bullet nose Studebaker truck. They are both similar, but different.

Now, the question remains… are they the same truck in different years or level of leaving it outside in the driveway in So Cal, specifically, Lakewood, CA. The information on the build would be appreciated if knowledge is known.

Thanks for that information, Truckcab79. I appreciate it, though it is sad news, for sure.

Since you brought up the topic, here's another Stude pickup with a bullet nose front end grafted on (sorry for the off-topic wheels). Very well done, imho, even if one doesn't care for the look. They even added the same front fender detail line to the rear fender! C-13.jpeg
