Technical 1951 ford shoebox dash

Could somebody tell me if a 51 dash is a direct fit in a 49 and 50 shoebox. Thanks

 

I have seen a 50 dash in 51 so I would guess it would go the other way easily.

 

Yes it is .I have switched back and forth quite a few times Only thing I noticed is that a few of the holes for fastening along the top don't line up so you will have to drill a few
