This is from Al's daughter Meghan tonight: Took the girls to deliver some Valentines presents to my mom and dad tonight. What a difference 2 days makes! Smiles and jokes. Makes my heart so happy

The other night I asked my dad if he wanted me to deliver a Valentines present to my mom from him. He did, but didn't have any ideas except no chocolate lol. So I got her chocolates and he got her a nice snuggly blanket compromises, right?

This is from Al's wife yesterday.It looks like Al will stay in hospital for the duration of the radiation treatments, which means an extra week. This is good news, because he won't have to be transported back and forth every day for the remaining treatments. He will also have the chance to build more strength.

Al, I went through our old PMs the other day.
One of the first things you sent me, was that old coke bottle opener, and I was looking at it yesterday, when I took the Hudson for a drive up country for a warrant inspection.
It was an awesome sunny day, and I passed the inspection.

One of my best treasures, is still the 1913 Oregon licence plate you sent me, and I can say without a doubt, the only one in New Zealand.
I hope your not pissed that I cleaned it up a little.

I think it was around four years back when you sent me this old Good guys shirt.
It's still hanging in there, but it's got a lot more miles on it now, lol.
