Mine was pretty bad too. Find yourself a suitable 4 door and graft the roof onto it. It will save you a lot of hassle.

If it makes you feel any better on the door thing, I had a '36 coupe project on a trailer and it had two doors when it left Virginia, only one when it got back home to Charleston.

Sold it to a dude on here from Missouri or Minnesota. I just missed out on a couple 3 Windows that just sold in MA from a farm field. They're out there

 

I'm going to say that was a smart move.

 

In the early 90's I did a complete restoration of a 39 zephyr coupe. So stunning that oncoming cars would pull off the road t get a better look at the Lincoln as I drove by
