Ah, Those old generic chrome modulars, generic when new, generic today, but kind of nostalgic of the eighties as much as the term "generic" itself:D but, Yeah, Ive had a set or two and they served there purpose:D
They could have put a set of caps over the ones in the pic to have made it look more appropriately correct but I would have probably scrolled on by without a mention even tho I may have liked it better:p

Slightly OT but still sad nonetheless. 383 automatic car.

  6. I hated to see this 59 Vette buried in a shed. The owner said it's 013.jpg not for sale. You can tell it's been there a long time. But I'm sure it will be saved someday.

  7. I love this thread lol

I saved this one but sold it. 40K original miles, 100% complete, hubcaps were in the trunk, owners manual in glove box, and original keys. It cleaned up very nicely...only problem, it's a 4 dr and it's as plain as they came, flathead 6 cyl ('59 was the last yr) 3 spd manual, single tone paint, and a heater. It ran after a lil tinkering...I prolly shoulda just kept it.

Couple more of the ole Dodge. 90% of the surface rust came off with lil buffing. You can see the factory applied glue around the weather stripping on the doors. If only it had been a Custom Royal Lancer hardtop! lol...oh well

  16. Want to see more of the '59!
