at least i dont think it is.....I got this old zenith carburetor and it looks very similar to the model a carb but theres a lot of differences. asfaras numbers go theres a 94 embossed in the top and also stamped in the top is A740 and then theres a small circle tag but its so beat up all i can make out is a 135 number. ive been searching for awhile and found one other posted online but that peson didnt know what it was either....so any ideas?
i couldnt find any to match as of yet. and since i'm asking i might as well ask about this other zenith as well...
There are a LOT of variants of the Model A and B related carbs like that. Almost all lack the GAV, as shown, and have the adjustable main jets as shown because they ran stationary engines that could be dialed in while running for a single speed. The circle with number is typical of I think all Zeniths of the period except for actual Ford versions. Notice the B has a venting bypass into inlet, for running with an aircleaner in a high dirt ag use. Some containing interesting parts...I have a B one with a factory large venturi, if I ever need a cheater carb for a ZZZ stock drag car. Biggest know use is a brand of combine that used Ford engines.
If the tag is unreadable, probably will not be identified. I show 574 different applications for this style carburetor. Jon.
