Hot Rods Convertible top bows, hep me, identify these

When I got my 40 Ford conv. , the man gave me this "extra set of bows" I never paid any attention to them, sold them here on the H.A.M.B., the man that bought them says they r no 40 Ford, no v cut on the header, like I said I never paid attention,, so we r going to work something out! But what the hell r they? Any help will b appriated

With it not being a V windshield makes me think its a pre 35 model. But the header bow seems to big and bulky. Plus the structure that holds the header bow(side rails)seem long. They wouldn`t fit in to the well area when the top is folded down. So maybe it`s a Volkswagen. They have lots of wood in them. Just an educated guess. If it ain`t, what`s your guess.

 

'35 '36 Ford's don't have a V but that's not it either ............................................

 

not what I'm looking for either.....for an A model.......

Went to zepherhills over the weekend, seen a 35 and a 36 Ford conv. Both looked very similar to the bows I had, I don't remember what the width was on mine and I could not measure the 35-36 I just can't believe mine were vw
