  6. there have been several pics posted of old bikes. all very cool. thanks. things were very different back then. bikers were true tuff guys. you had to be just to be able to ride those old machines. the road captain at that time was the leader who carried the guns, money, and drugs. now days they pick out which dairy queen to stop at. how times have changed.

  7. You are rightracer - x. And you had to be Abel to fix what you rode . Now they just have a cell phone . Blue

Have you been to a Dairy Queen lately ? Some of the one's I've seen you should be packing a gun and at their food prices plenty of cash and I am sure if you talked to the guy in the back chopping the lettuce he could set you up with some drugs.....

This one is a local car and still hits the streets but I just herd today that John ,the current owner and old friend, had a shop fire and some of his cars were destroyed I'm hoping that the latter is false information...[IMG]

On the left: Chevrolet Chevy II Super Nova, 1964 Show car. Hitting the show circuit about the same time the Mustang debuted, it sank into relative obscurity.

On the right: Babe Ruth and ’37 Nash Ambassador Eight. In that year, Ruth did paid endorsements for Sinclair gasoline and hosted radio bits on the Columbia network promoting weekly giveaways, including not one, but two Nash cars to be given away to lucky listeners.
