Got both doors on today. Let it down on the ground to start adjusting the latches and striker plates. Really happy with the gaps. Just need to adjust the new rubber door bumpers to get a nice and even fit. Doesn't look like a damn jeep anymore lol.

Today we finished the door latches, handles, and glass templates. We had to send the quadrajet back to the guy who sold it to me for repairs and got that back yesterday as well. Doors fit great, glass templates are good to send out, and the engine runs great now.

While we're waiting for the glass shop to cut the glass we are tinkering with stuff. Back of the car settled way too low so we stuck another leaf in the rear buggy spring. I was also able to finally "drive" the car. In and out of the garage at least just to set the idle a little better. All that's left is to install the glass and the seat. Then it's going back home.

I haven't been able to properly post a video from my phone. Trying from my desktop now.

We started installing the glass this weekend but I didn't snap any pics yet. We also finally figured out the air cleaner situation. I tried an original 58 corvette 4bbl air cleaner and since I have a Qjet on top of an adapter plate the air cleaner looked like a top hat. So I found a corvette "style" air cleaner that's 3.5" tall instead of 2" and uses a drop base so it covers the whole carb. Pretty happy with it. Here's a photo of the windshield glass installed. Most nerve wrecking project ever. I'm using a factory GM green tinted glass too. I think it looks great against the brown paint. I was worried it would add too many colors but it's so subtle it's not screaming green.

Yep right down the street too. American Auto Glass. It's a factory GM green tint. Really subtle. Looks great against the brown.

Thanks a lot! I got the lacing from Snyder's actually. I don't think we put it on exactly the way it's suppose to be originally since we aren't running a hood but it looks good to us lol

Nope we just bolted it right in the center to hold it, then pulled each side down super tight and riveted on these little L hooks that snap into the notches at the bottom of the cowl, then snipped off the excess.
