The cowl edge's hood hanger dimple, just below the A on the w/s says it is a 1934..
1933 was smooth with an extra bracket soldered to the radiator's vertical side bracket to hang the hood side...
Henry said make it cheaper...thus the dimple instead of the extra bracket...
and a chopped and chromed grill shell... priceless !

I think it was on the cover of Popular Hotrodding, Oct. 1962 with a blown Hemi.

I have a little 35 ford pick up cab and a 354 hemi and a 671 blower kicking around... this is the style i am going for.. i have always had a soft spot for those 60's styled race/hot rods.. i know they didnt do too many trucks but oh well.. we will see how the mop flops.. gonna be a fun little project.

  11. Cool factor is about even in my opinion. Lady driven on Saturdays and Sundays BTW.

Looks like it has the little door window slats in it too which is a '34 only thing. Whoever did the cut and chrome on that grille did a damn nice job it looks like. That is a difficult thing to pull off, and a hard part to rechrome.
