    That is neat I can't remember ever seeing a Man-A-Fre on a small block Ford or any other ford powerplant.

    Yeah, thanks, I like the 289. Runs 12 teens at 110 mph...not too bad for a 9.25 compression pump gas street car under 300 cu.in...

    I think my Crower will take that top...but I will just have to leave as is... just a fresh up and a tune up.

    Not a lot of detail showing in that photo but both Hilborn and later Crower built injectors like that, as did Enderle with the throttle shaft and butterflies on the front of the scoop, I'm not sure which one that is. Hilborn and the Crower are four hole, and the more popular, taller Enderle is three hole. Enderle's are in three sizes, the early Bug Catcher, then the Bird, and lastly Buzzard.
