Funny- the accent colors on Mom's car were silver for the lower quarters and a red pinstripe- looking forward to seeing the progress, Tony!!!

I just found this thread. Nick smithberg told me about the quick and dirty Dodge. That's an awesome car! I haven't had time to read all the pages yet. What Clutch and transmission are you running?

  5. Yeah Nick has been invaluable on this car! I've been running a Jerico since May 2016 with a straight forward backward shifter. I love it. The clutch is a RAM sintered iron using a custom flywheel they made to fit the 392.

  17. Alright Tony, it's been a week, so... let's see it :D!!!

Oh, Brad and I picked up the parts truck for the panel, so things are looking good! Will start the thread as soon as I can (getting the 8th grade band ready for two judged performances in the next 6 weeks)!

  18. Yeah man I hope to see you at the races this year. DOM tells me you guys have a really good band! Hope I can catch a show sometime! Let me know if you need any help on the car - we'll send DOM over to point out anything you missed.

I like the blue by the train the most. Been getting some paint samples sprayed on cards. Niko is going to spray on the 6th. He wants the primer to cure fully before paint. This week he's finishing the bear claw door latches and smoothing out the glass deck lid.

Glad you were able to score the parts truck! That will put you way ahead!

Thanks Tony. Saw DOM yesterday at Whiteheads. You're right, he won't miss a thing ! I will let you know next time we play. Got both cars on all fours, now the fun stuff starts. Waiting to see your paint!

That's weird, for some strange reason; none of the WEST COAST races are showing up!

No more Greer for the Southeast Gassers. And that's the full schedule.

I put them all on my calendar. I think it just became my vacation plan.

    Paint job tomorrow?!!!!

  29. Niko was out sick 1/2 of this week. If it warms up enough to spray outside it will get done this week. If not, we are going to borrow a heated booth Saturday.

Too much free time causes weird behavior in some animals. Upgraded the already unridable bike to a King and Queen seat :D
