  3. Great video Steffen, parts of it reminded me of a film Fritz Lang might have done.

Interessting compare. Yes, really dramatic imagery and camera angles. Very expressionistic style!

Mountain Iron, MN High School, 1928 - school transit ranged from buses to sedans:

Are the three on the right (one bus, two sedans) Studebakers?

Saved this photo from the trash pile at an estate sale. Lima, Peru, late '60s/early '70s:

The "Not in USA" trailer (caravan) shot.. the Ford looks like it has Dutch plates. The Dutch are a keen caravanning and camping nation. Obviously not taken in Holland, though, Holland is not noted for it's mountain ranges.

    Mart.

A google image search netted a higher res version, in a thread stating "Some images from Norway".

The Volvo appears to have Norwegian plates. If the Landrover was British, that's a long way away (especially in one of those) The caravan looks typically British. The Dutch Ford has also been driven a long way. I know which one I'd prefer to use to cover such a drive.

    Wich ones?
I was looking 1000 hours every pic in this thread and I saw many pics generally about social live, girls etc. (I also saw many pics later than 65).
I thought this thread is also a little bit to understand the social, political and cultural background of the time when the cars we love are produced.
In my oppinion this is a basic for everybody if you talk about "traditional".
But no problem - if I'm wrong with this just tell me wich movie I shall delete.

I had a 50 8 pass sedan for many years and wish I would have never sold it,with a modern drivetrain it would have been a excellent long distance cruiser.
