My Pops put an application in for the Grand Nation Roadster Show 2017. We got word a few weeks ago he was accepted into the Suede Palace with his 28 AV8! We better get busy cleaning, it could also be dicey traveling in January from the Black Hills of South Dakota to Pomona. Wish us luck!

Just a few more days and we head South. Looks like winter is going to throw us a curveball so we might head out of South Dakota a day early.
Heading out this afternoon! A big winter storm is rolling across Western Wyoming this morning right in the path we were going to take. So this afternoon we are going to head South, its 170 miles farther but will be well worth the extra time to be safe. I will update with a few pictures from the Grand National when we get home. Wish us safe travels and good luck.

Currently, it is great weather for us So Cal locals for the next week or so, but there is a front moving from the Pacific that stretches east. You will probably have to stay south again, but by the time you leave or are in New Mexico, you might want to check the weather satellite again. We in So Cal may not even get any moisture, but Central Cal and above to the border will get pelted again. Be careful going home. Maybe if you have time, do the old "wait until its gets better" scenario... See more sights in the drier states. Jnaki
Thanks for the praise. Just walked in the door from so-cal. You were correct we went thru some real shit weather. Got stranded in Rawlins Wy. last nite with roads closed in every direction.
We made it to so-cal and back, a bit over 3000 miles with about 500 in 4x4 doing 35-45 mph do to blowing snow and black ice, stuck in Rawlin Wy. with roads closed in every direction. But it was worth it Pops was picked for a Street Rodder Magazine Top 100 and won the Hop Up Magazine Best Of Show for the GNRS (not bad for a bunch of hicks from South Dakota)
