Pretty intimidating, all this fine artwork.
I'll share this sketch I made 52 years ago, while in class (high school). Hot rods and skiing, that was my life!
Oh yeah, I've learned a little more about driveline angles since then!

I collect old cameras, and old photos and slides with cars in them. I just got a lens to photograph the slides, to start putting them up on the vintage photos thread, and I thought these two were artistic and should go here. fas green.JPG fas cookie.JPG Do you have any milk and cookies, Mr. Williams?

  8. I was watching the presidential inauguration, and saw a new Suburban with fender skirts. It wasn't in the parade, but an armored vehicle parked at the capital building. It made me think, what if a HAMB er were to 073.jpg built the armored cars for the president. This is what they may look like. lol Ron...

  16. Davkin The manufacturer is { Kelmet }. They made toy trucks like the real White trucks, from 1920 to 1928. The detail is great. Cast axles , parallel springs, radiator, and C cab. Here is a cool Hot Rod Woody, 063.jpg 064.jpg by Buddy L. And a campus cutie girl, that sold in five and dime stores, for only 10 cents. Ron...

Kelmet is a manufacturer I hadn't heard of before, I'll have to keep a lookout, however the prices for the pre-30's toys are beyond my tolerance. I have a yellow pickup made by Buddy L in the same style as that woody.
