Got a buddy who lives in Lancaster, CA who needs to get to Tucson for a visit. This may be a way to get him to come see me. He needs some particulars. I just picked up this Corvair Convertible in Northridge a few weeks ago & delivered it to Washington .... I am in Kingman, AZ right now - waiting to fill a second spot headed east to Florida .. You could hire me by the mile from Kingman .... But TTTT8 sounds like the way to go for you .... Jim
Lebowski - you are one of the few people to get it! Congrats! One of the funniest interpretations we heard was at NSRA Bakersfield several years ago when, as we were driving into the fairgrounds, was a woman who said kinda loud, "Titty 8, what the hell's a titty 8?" We laughed a long time over that one.

We owned for 12 or 13 years. Bought it as an earlier build which was done before the guy we bought it from who owned it for 12 years. It may have been built in Oklahoma. We sold it in Silver City, NM about one and one half years ago. It is a good old car - no rust, nice ride, and solid as a tank. Here are a few pics taken June 2015.

Somebody did a nice job restoring it. I'm happy that it has Ford power and not Chevy. Nice interior too, especially the bucket seats. Thanks for the pics....
