Southcross, lived and drove truck down there for 10 years. Lived in Mt.Dora.I worked out of central flordia{Orlando} after I had to start turning on the A.C. in Feb.I said its time to move. Love it here in East T. N. {Sevierville}Got the seasons. The summers can be a little warm but not like Flordia and I can work in my shop most of the year, here on our mountian top home and no one bothers me about painting.I do miss the surf fishing though.Bruce.
-26 Celsius with the wind chill here today and lost of snow on the ground! Spring be a looooong way off! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
These pictures remember me of this youtube video Its sort of wet snow and SALT!!!! here so no driving the 40 rod truck or Elco
Is it impolite at this point to mention some places in Australia reached 116.6 degrees F. today? 106F. where I was working.
After 2 degrees here about a week ago now its in the 60s here and they say it might hit 70 here next week. Its nice to work with the shop doors open. Crazy weather here this winter. They say it will get cold again. Bruce.
I'm not too sure 116.6 degrees is much better than bitter cold! No flatheads overheating in this cold! You guys try to keep it together down under ok? It will get better. Dave
I'm sure some of us HAMBers in the southern states would be happy to take those project cars covered in snow off your hands. Let's give them a warm home!
Its a '32 truck frame, the '35 and '29 are landmarks... Years ago there was an old car or old truck in every farm yard or behind every home...... If you travel on Foster rd. you will see both the landmarks for a split second on your way by... other than the door, the truck doesn't have a passenger's side... the cabbie doesn't even have the driver's door... I did it for future "hot rod" dreamers...
No pics but today is sunny and 15 degrees so the wife and I got up on the roof and shoveled the snow off. The south side had 2 feet of snow built up! Hope clearing it off means it won't snow a bunch now. Ya know, like washing your car and it rains? Yep, I'm tired of the snow.
