I'm guessing those are the 18" version of the wide 5 which would account for the taller spokes. The car looks great, and this thread will be a great reference for the future.

Thought I'd put up a quick post on how things are going with the old coupe. I've been driving it pretty well daily for the past 2 months and it has been performing beautifully. I have a li 20160722_065546.jpg st of small things to do this winter but all in all I'm very happy with how everything is running. Here's a pic from her first trip out.

Saw your coupe at Deuce Days in July - you did a fantastic job on this build.

Nice job on the build, Brad. The only problem I see is that there are 2 to many windows.

Just plowed threw this entire thread after seeing Ryan's photos. Very cool man.

Only lingering question I have is if you plated the torque tube after you polished it or coated it with something?

Havent made a post on whats going on with the old coupe in a while. this will be the last one for 2016.

My buddy steve and I spent the afternoon on the coupe yesterday and polished the whole car. it turned out really well. I couldnt be happier. The first shot is the before and after of the polish job. polished on the left not on the right.

One of my favorite builds, thanks for sharing.

  25. Looks good Brad! Hand rubbed shine, is the best choice!:D:D:D (Flat/suede paint is for primer) or just someone who didn't take the time or doesn't know how to block sand a car! (It's all about the prep!)
You did a great job! The shine just proves the skill level, also time and attention for perfection!
I'm going to the Turlock swap this month, You coming down? If not, P.M. me what's on your want/need list!

Awesome build. What size rims are you running? And what brand and size tires are those?

  30. Incredible transformation, from Frankenstein to Rocky Balboa. Lean mean fighting machine. Just watched the whole video, over Sunday morning coffee. Mad Fab Skills. Noticed the McDonalds cup next to garnish molding. So your chop was based on going through the drive through??? LOL
Love that when the (welder) smoke cleared, this machine had a theme. Stand up and take a bow. You deserve it. Going to share this on our Misfires CC FB page, to show people what can be done, when you put your mind to something.
Here is a link to the youtube video, if it hasn't already been posted. Does "Handbuilt Cars" control the backround music.??? Most of their videos seem similar.
