After two years of restoring this french 32 coupe, now nearly ready to cruise !!!
it was an old classic restoration with a running four banger ,i change with a french military flathead.

Looking good. We had sport coupes down here as well. Here's one I saw recently in Canada.

Very cool. My 90+ yr old uncle just finished up the resto of his deuce Sport Coupe. You sure don't see them often, but done right they sure look sweet. Enjoy that one....

    Cool !
That fabric top is the best styling I've seen on a sport coupe !
Body is quite different with no swage down the side of the boot/rumble seat lid

That will definitely look different cruising around amongst all those Renaults, Peugots and Citroens.
Body looks to be in great shape. Have fun with it.

You have a great looking hot rod and I can only imagine the difficulties in building one in Europe, well done! I did notice the comment from clem about the reveal line next to the rumble lid and that got me thinking. The quarters on the Sport Coupe were the same as those on the 5 window, as is the lower panel below the rumble lid. The '32 Cabriolet and 3 window are the only bodies that did not have reveal lines there so I believe that is a Cabriolet rear body section grafted on to your Sport Coupe. Don't take this the wrong way, I don't mean to sound critical, I'm just pointing out the differences between body details.
Back in 1967 I had a '32 Cabriolet and being a senior in high school I had no money, no tools or even a garage so I sold it, but I do remember the differences well.

thanks for your informations about the rear body section!!! i think it is possible that the rear is from a cabriolet,
may be this car had an accident many years ago ,because the rumble lid is not like an original!!! it's a custom made
with a lot of wood and a simple lid on a wooden frame !!!!so know i know that the rear has been rebuilt !!!
