The first time I ate at the Charburger in Cascade Locks was around 1971 (ish), 16/17 years old. Been there a few times over the years but really enjoyed stopping there and showing the area to my wifes parents when they visited from Wisconsin in the late 80's.

Something about this Packard engine setup really makes me nod in appreciation....and thoughtful that I didn't have to sit in the back of the boat!!! tumblr_n79ylbc8FM1rn8k76o1_1280.jpg

… O.K. so select the best answer on what's going on with this guy ?
    1) He's just trying to read a label on bread package for high corn fructose content ...
    2) Many boot leggers filled various components especially hollowed out just for that purpose. Here we see him "topping" off one of prepared headlights with hooch …
    3) We find him blowing up a balloon or inner tube …. or
    4) About to fit that travel max bag over the radiator for cooling ...

What is the design idea of the tires here?
    Does anyone know?
Must be something designed for police vehicles?

No look more like solid rubber that has been made with the holes to make them a little less hard riding.
