You've got a great start to begin with ! As for the interior: the tilt column is fine, but you'll probably want to change the steering wheel. Those '56 taillights look "right at home" where they are...love 'em !

Good luck on finding the time to get this neat ride the way you want it !

Thanks man! I'm looking forward to this build , might take a bit because I got to send a couple others down the road so I can keep this one but will be worth it! I'm going to get suspension done now so I can drive it , then move to particular stuff , should be good to go by lsru in April!

Well scored some 210 trim, just back from the chrome shop, on piece at a time ! Don't guess anybody knows where some Pontiac ends are like these?

  7. I have never owned a '53 Chevy but I have always liked that body style.

This is one car that works equally well being a custom or a hot rod. HRP

Nice looking car. Do you know what size tires are currently on the car. I need to buy some whitewalls for my 53 and I'm trying to figure what size I need so they don't look too big or small in the wheel wells. Looking forward to seeing more pics of your build.

Really digging that 56 test treatment it's something you don't see too often. Usually packard or 55 chevy.

Those are 51-2 Packard side spears, not Pontiac.
