$8500? Not so bad. Lots of mechanics pay that for an ordinary Snap-On box.

Great for the 'toy box' showcase garage. Other wise....meh, there's a mountain of other things I'd rather spend 8500 clams on.

  5. It is very cool, but if it was in my shop, it would get ruined, I have been known to throw tools and other stuff.:D:D

Little known fact about Foster Brooks, He did not drink! He had me convinced that he did.

The story he would tell was that he quit in 1964, some guy bet him $10 that he couldn't , and he " needed the money":D
He was an old "radio" guy, and his career was on the rocks in 1964, so I think it was kind of an inside joke. He started doing the lush routine in the late sixties, and it made him famous. Guy was funny as hell.

I would guess you could get all the truck parts from LMC and go to HF for the tool box to get those workings and still come under budget.

I don't see any actual tools in it either. That's way to clean of a shop to get anything done in.

I was thinking the same thing. In no time it would be full of dents, scratches, paint knocked off, dusty, dirty, kinda like my vehicles....

I also liked Jonathon Winters. With that guy, ya just kinda knew it wasn't an act or scripted a lot of the time, he was just plain nuts. That's what made him so funny, especially in a sit down "normal" interview. I understand he was in the Marine Corps, I'd have paid money to see that shit, I guarantee he was a riot 24/7

I think Jonathan Winters interviews were better than his movies. Man he was good at ad libbing.
