It's electronic, new from Hilborn. I've driven mechanical fuel inj. on the street before and it's not always fun. I plan on running the wheels of this car, so I went this way. Not cheap, but what is.

  2. Thanks zorro4153. I would like to hear, see some details on hooking up the system, wiring, plumbing etc. What ecu are you using?

  5. The Bone Shaker is 541" of Boss Motor backed by a Jerico 4 Speed. Jeremy Pearson is the guys name. I'm not sure if they are still letting him run with them, there was some controversy on this car meeting their rules and it was Garndfathered at one point.

    Mad mikey,
The system is pretty easy, I'm running the Holley ecu and harness. 12 volt, ign pickup. harness for the injectors and TPS. Tune with a laptop and your good to go. It was good for 18hp over a a 4 barrel carb and the throttle response is great. As far as plumbing, high pressure fuel pump in tank, a couple fuel filters and a supple and return fuel lines.

Couple of intakes I've got laying around. Small block Chevy tunnel ram modified to accept an Autolite inline 4 bbl. I got this off some local guys that used it back in the early '70's, they claimed it was the best setup they ever ran back then. The other is a S-K tunnel ram for a Pontiac. sb.jpg sk.jpg

That looks just like the trips I had on my 272 Y block 1955 more door. Leaky things they were.
