Couple of us organised a Pre Silly Season pub lunch run on Saturday 11th. We got 30 cars. a great day weather wise ( not something in Victoria that has happened much this season) and a great meal in a country pub. Sorry I was driving, so no driving shots, but some static.
Great shots of great cars!! Reminds me of an old Australian Tourism TV commercial they used to show here - "Christmas in the summer where it belongs!" or something close to that anyway. Bill
Thanks. Now that we are snow bound........you folks keep your tour pictures coming until we get to drive ours once more!
Yes some folks have a cold meat and salad Xmas lunch and seafood Xmas dinner is also popular due to the high temps at that time of year but when the wife suggested that the OP announced that if there was no roast turkey with crispy roast potatoes then he wasn't coming! Yes was a nice cruise through the countryside where the grass is still green and a great pub meal afterwards.
I forgot to say, thanks to all that came and made it a great day, it was perfect weather for a roadster ride.
Where were you Peddro? Actually, doesn't matter. I don't care. Another great run by the three amigos. Thanks guys. Sure was good roadster weather, but it was pretty comfy in the Riv just the same.
Great drive, great cars, great weather, great food great company.....what more do you want, Thanks for the invite. Jeff
Thanks for organising this one Corey. We know Dave and Wayne had a hand in it but you know... Great day had by all I think. I just worked out I did about 320 kms that day for the round trip so I was happy with the little banger. That's just short of 200 miles for our US cousins. Thanks again for the invite Lazy
Of course! Not my fault the Minister of Fun revoked your day pass. we all had fun! Oh and did we all tell you how great the weather was, how nice the drive through the mottled sun shaded countryside was and how yummy the pub lunch was?
Looks like a great day out.............the guy with the red check shirt & green cap......was that Mick Lee?........Andy Douglas
Yes Andy it was a great day out and yes that was Mick. There are a few pics of Mick's 32 roadster there too.
