Customs New purchase

  4. Very nice. I've had 8 or 9 '61's since the first one in 1964. Last was Belair two door in fawn beige with a couple different big blocks/400TH. Second owner after me did an LS/T56 swap.

    Never owned a 61 but once had a set of those daisey mags.(or coke bottles as some call em)

    A '61 to '64 2dr post has been on my 'to do' list for a while now. I've got bits & pieces stowed for when it happens. Those flat tops are unique. Very nice acquisition ya got there, congrats.

    Very nice looking car, and I strongly agree with your thought to swap out the current wheels for some steel wheels and caps. Not that I totally dislike mags or anything, but the steel wheels would look right at home on that car.

    Very nice. I love those mid year X frame cars. I've had 8 of them. Steel wheels and caps look great. Using them on my 63 Impala and 64 Biscayne.
