According to the NTSB report, it suffered an engine failure on takeoff with a full load of cargo, but the pilots cut power to the wrong engine and were unable to maintain control. Result: four dead on the plane and six dead on the ground in and around the auto body shop it hit.

Early production 1926 Pontiac. Has the small hubcaps used on about the first 30,000 cars.

 

Locomobile Model 48, probably late teens.
