Thanks Drewfus. I knew those 2 roadsters would go over well. I was talking to Tony just after I posted that last cover on page 90. He really liked that roadster. Then my phone batteries went flat and I left him hanging. Although I had told him about this other cover that was coming up.

  4. both stunning roadsters in their own right, on my dream list for sure. Covers look great, and appreciate the effort to get them here. Trust Tony & Reta are continuing to improve, trust we'll get to catch up with you guys at the next reliability run.
    Cheers,

I was just looking back on page 90 and noticed the commemorative cover I did for Tom. I thought it didn't really commemorate this point in time. So I redid the cover with dates and magazine cost that are right up to date. As well as altering some of the images. But the original cover still remains on page 90.

It was good to catch up with the phone call this morning ,your covers are becoming so professional and I always tell you to print them into a book. As I see these images the way they should be to make them look the best, with your talent to modify to come from the best time hot rods looked the best . Geoff and myself where born in the fifties and we never left , as we are lost in this era of cool hot rods and music houses etc . What I was trying to say Geoff is Charlie wants you to come to the BOOGALOO run with your 32 3w and so do l .

Hey Tony, sorry about the phone call. Rita never told me I had to keep charging the battery.
I don't know that I am lost in the '5o's Tony. I am just lost full stop.
Yeah we'll see what happens re the Boogaloo thing.
I don't think a book will happen re the covers. As you can tell I am still enjoying doing them.
Ok I had best be going, good to see you in here Tony.

Here you go Tony. Don't show it to Rita. She'll say I am a bad influence on you.

    Geoff aka whodaky

PS I even removed my 3W from that shot, to create what you probably think is almost the perfect driveway scene.

I really liked this Hot Rod magazine cover. However I added the Mercury. I may at a later date change the image of the engine beside the Hot Rod banner.
I just changed the engine image to the engine from the Orange Crate.

You need to buy Brandon's coupe Tony, you would be the perfect care taker.

Thanks Wardog. I'll try, maybe not as many as the last month or so; as I am replastering the house. It's all new to me.
Hey Jeff, I wasn't thinking of you when I did that cover. But it does make sense that you would like it.
