why change one of the best looking grills that has ever been produced - maybe need to buy a car with a grill that you do like

    Thanks
I really don't like the 48 front end ! But love the rest of the car , with a decent chop
I do like 49 caddy grills but they don't come up for sale too often ( especially not in the UK )

  10. If you're going to react like that, it will also apply to 99.9% of traditional responses.

Maybe you should have asked for ideas for grilles that look good on 1948 Fords, based on what I can find in the U.K?

Then hope people will somehow know what you can or can't get easily.

Not exactly sure what my reaction was !
The whole reason for asking the question is because what I like doesn't come up for sale very often.
So with other people suggestions I may see something I didn't know about .
I think you are being a bit keen on wanting to participate in a thread without actually having anything worthwhile to add to it
    Suggestion please not worthless banter

I'm currently working on grafting a 41 coupe onto a 67 Thunderbird chassis, I'm going to have to fabricate a custom grill to widen the coupe grill to fit the Thunderbird front track width. Here's one of my design ideas.

I like the 46-48 Grilles, but I just remove the "Mustache" and go with 3 bars.

46-48 Ford grilles are nice loo 20160518_114241.jpg king, but sort of common. Here is a natural fit, and never out of style.
