HERE ARE SOME PICS OF THE BARN FIND I HAD THIS LAST WEEKEND.

THE STORY IS THIS OLD FARMER BOUGHT THE TRUCK NEW IN 1939 FOR HIS FARM. IN 1951 HE BOUGHT AN INTERNATIONAL HARVESTOR AND PARKED THE OLD FORD IN THE BARN. ITS A 1 OWNER ORIGINAL FORD

    QUESTION:
WHAT SEATS FIT IN THIS TRUCK THAT LOOK ORIGINAL LIKE A BENCH SEAT?

WHAT REAR END FITS THE TRACK WIDTH AND IS AFFORDABLE FOR THIS TRUCK YEAR?

Wow. Hell of a find. Great looking truck. Get her running yet?
I'd guess any 35-41 seat would fit.

The barn find 39 is now in the shop getting full Heidts mustang 2 front suspension with 4 linked rear. It will have a 302 with a c4 and be on a full accuair elevel air ride suspension. I got burnt out building this 1960 Ford which I just sold to Australia. This 1939 I am keeping and having built for me. Attached is a picture of my truck that I had photoshopped so I can see how it will look when completed. I know bags are not for everyone but I suffer from altitude sickness. The shop that is building this Truck is located in Ventura California and called JG Fabricaton http://www.jgdesignandfab.com/

  13. Finally, a genuine actual honest to goodness BARN FIND!

  14. I guess you are going to bag it .? Have you seen the Mittler bro. Coils over hydraulic lift shocks ? I have a TCI under mine and love the way it handles . Nothing like a horse collar truck . Good luck , Blue

  17. Back about 1963 I was working in a gas station. A guy drug one of these trucks through one day and asked me if I wanted it. Being a scrounger, I accepted. Eventually I decided it was too ugly to do anything with and threw it away. That was then, things are different now...........

Here are some updated pics from JG Fabrication on the rear suspension and air ride set up on the 1939 Ford Barn Find truck. I'm hoping to have it on the road by Feb 2017. All of the Accuair E level sensors are hooked up and the bed is getting mounted tomorrow. I should have some pics Saturday of it looking more complete.

I went to check out my truck and was super happy with the stance! It should be on the road in February! The rear wheel wells had to be moved up and the bed was sectioned 3 inches by http://www.jgdesignandfab.com/. 20161217_102256.jpg 20161217_102452.jpg 20161217_102621.jpg 20161217_102723.jpg GOPR7091_1482010205137_high-01.jpeg GOPR7092_1482010191809_high.JPG GOPR7093_1482010183469_high-01.jpeg GOPR7094_1482010175263_high-01.jpeg IMG_20161216_141541.jpg

Congratulations, now your truck is a street rod, not a traditional hotrod. I have a 39 that I have driven every day for 17 years, It was built for the dragstrip before I got it pullingdoubles.jpg
