I did multiple times within the thread. Its become a guessing game to see who can figure out what they are. its a tongue and check thing.
It must just be me, but I don't understand the attraction to or should I say why guys are liking something like exposed brakes etc.
The bottom one and the one upside down are wide 5's, so not 32 at all. 36-39. Though I would suggest they are early, 36 or so, as 32-34 had cutouts like these ones. Later wide 5s were a solid drum with no cutouts.
These are stock Ford parts intended to keep your brakes cool. "Rocky Mountain Brake Drums" Started in the Model T era, used in Model As and up through 1936. What's so crazy about using old Ford parts on a Ford hotrod? Race cars in the past have also run skeleton brake backing plate set ups to keep the brakes cool. More motivation/inspiration of using exposed brakes. Kinmont brakes used air scoops to keep the brakes cool.
cool 34... love the ugly duckling 4door to coupe transformation... the tan '30 coupe in the background has been my screen saver off and on for months...
