What we've got here is, a great example of what someone can do with passion, drive and perseverance. Good looking car you got there, love love love the suicide doors and the chop too. Great job, can't wait to see it finished Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nice job Farmer! Lots of work to keep the 4 door but make it look real cool! Question, don't you think you should plate the side of the frame where you did the notch? Just asking cuz I looked into this when I was considering doing the same to my Chevy and the overwhelming response was that it needed a plate on both sides to maintain strength.
That car is just too cool. Awesome job. It will look great painted but as the old hot rod saying goes, "In the rough, is just enough". Can't wait to see more. Gary
Thanks, there's actually a huge gusset on the inside right above the notch that's also a spring perch and connects to a cross member so it should be ok
I'm finishing up the drivers side , got to round the hood and Trunk corner, trying to decide If I wanna do little side scoops in the hood. Not a 100% if I'm gonna like it or not. Then just clean up the body work and paint.
Everbody does little scoops and your car is different then every other merc so I'd continue the change and go a different route. What route? I don't know, but a challenge for the mind is good and you seem to be able to conquer a challenge.
I think that its Great-Wow- Fantastic-Amazing- and a GREAT Sleeper, will be Watching Keep up the Great Work.! just my 3.5 cents or when the Cows come Home
