The thing about his music, is how incredibly timeless it was. Everything he ever recorded held up today as true as it did when he laid the words to paper. I listen to his albums more and more the older I get. Rest in Peace, Buck.
Pick up the new issue of CAR KULTURE DELUXE ! Melinda miles got what was probobly his last of very few interviews!! She must be very upset right now, but she also has the right to be proud of the article! It was very, very good. R.R.
My favorite tune of his was.... (I believe...) Waiting in your Welfare Line. Too bad. I never got down to see him play at the Crystal Palace.... but I was going to.... yadda yadda. bummer.
Many thanks for that great link! It led me to http://www.homestead.com/deemusic/together.html which might just as well be a tribute to both Don Rich and Buck Owens. Thanks for the music, Buckaroos.
