I have a 1929 Model A Tudor Sedan and I was wondering how thick is the wood header front to back as I'm milling my own and I have all the dimensions but how thick to make it!

The best I can do is slide a thin ruler between the wood and visor metal to get 3.35" front to rear.

That's just a sample picture all I have is the metal. I want to make a header I have all the measurements except for the thickness front to back!

My yet-to-be-installed one measures bang-on 3" wide at the center (it gets narrower out towards the ends). Regards, Dave.
