    It's a Standard. That's all I know.

Standard Motor Company. I don't know the specific model or year.

    Search "Standard 8" and/or "Standard 10".

Mid fifties Standard Ten, an English economy car with a 948cc engine. They were a competitor of the Morris Minor. Same company made the Triumph TR3 sports cars and sedans, and Standard Vanguard sedans with 2.1 liter engines.

Put a Hemi in it lol ha ha

You know I can usually find some good in any car but this time I am stymied. Can't think of a single good thing to say or a single outstanding or unusual feature. Or, for that matter anything bad enough to be interesting. They were mediocre, average in every way. It may be the most boring car ever made.

Not a Morris Oxford!! It's a Standard 10 as mentioned earlier.

  14. But if it,s a wagon it would be pretty rare.

Definitely a Standard. They came in 8, 10 and Cadet models over the lifespan of the body. I am with Gaz, a station wagon is rare and I have never seen one in the flesh.

In the late 60's a good friend of mine built one that was definitely less than boring. Big bore engine--nearly 1300 cc's :) -- radically ported and shaved head with a couple of SU carbs and a four into one header, Spitfire disc brakes and gearbox and lowered a bunch. About the only thing that it couldn't outrun in the small car field was a Mini Cooper and it had a better top speed than a five bearing MG B as we proved one day to the disgust of the MG owner. He ran it on cross ply tires as the one time that he tried radials it improved the grip a little but when it did let go you were in the scenery instantly. With the cross plies it drifted nicely.

For the United States export market the car was badged as the Triumph 10 [6] and in Scandinavia it was sold as the Standard Vanguard Junior. In Australia the Ten was known as the Cadet.[14]

One Friday night in the 60's we were out cruising in a 37 Chev Coupe and were soundly beaten by a Standard 10
    around a twisty road.
