When we switched to 413's instead of the 56A (early hemi) industrial engines for our irrigation wells we started using mags. The spark plugs of the time ('60's) didn't last long, but the advantage of not needing batteries and generators made up for that. 'Course, running 24/7 at 3200 rpm on natural gas is a little different from the applications mentioned above
