Are you flying commercial, or private plane? Rockford Airport is a very nice, modern facility and is MUCH, MUCH less congested than anything in Chicago. This is in addition to being about 15 miles from the strip.

All that waiting and fighting and it's over in a minute and a half video.... just like sex LOL.

 

I was talking to my wife on the way home and said how funny is this that someone would drive for 4 hours one way for 36.71 seconds of fun.

 

I heard that DuecedUp had to load that Dragnasty on the trailer because when he pulled the chute it got all tangled up on the wheelie bars and almost flipped the car on it's roof? Any truth to that story?

NOPE! ...but that would certainly be par for the course! However, I was thinking about tossing the chute just for the heck of it. I have always wanted to do it. But the darn 1000 foot cones went by so fast I didn't have a chance! LMAO! Next time!

 

Make sure the leaf spring U bolts are tight, cause this one won't bog down like the last one.

 

That is a trio that will beat a pair.

Just a little save the date for everyone...

 

After a trip to the sandbox last year need some repairs - final pull on the frame all is level and square. new straight axle (hope to keep it straight), master cylinder and while its down - new engine and clutchflite. A bit of work ahead.

I will never forget that from last year....you went pretty deep into the sand and I am happy that you only walked away with some damage to the car.
