I just happened to find this movie on you tube and thought to myself, this is a perfect simple little movie. It really tells the tale of how our cars really get put together, and how it always has been done through out the years.
    I hope you enjoy it!!

  2. I did enjoy it ... Thanks for sharing!

On a side note: My parents (circa 1960s) Kirby vacuum cleaner had a paint sprayer attachment similar to the unit he used to paint the car ... I had never seen one in action ... very cool!

    All's well, that ends well.

  4. Thanx for the link. I've only watched the first few minutes but it looks like it might turn into one of those rare "undiscovered gems". I'll be watching it in its entirety for sure. :D

The older girl next door looks like Lauren Cohan (Maggie from the Walking Dead)?

  7. Fun little film. The car is a Bull Nose Morris Cowley

Excelent little film and very enjoyable,
Funny thing is that my dad did the same thing with the same car,
He made an austin seven racer in the same way,
Its just the way it was done then.

  10. Just finished watching it. What a great little video. Very fun.

Fun little film, though I did have a little trouble following the dialog!
    Thanks, KK

Thanks for posting, neat short film.

We bought a Kirby vacuum back in '97, it still came with the paint gun attachment!
I thought it was crazy, but now I'm curious....

The grille shell looked like the ones that were used on early Indy racing cars, I think Miller built them...
