History -32 Roadster for sale at the 2005 LARS

I took this picture of a 1932 Ford Roadster for sale at the 2005 LA Roadster Show. I believe the gentleman in front of the car is the seller. I found this picture when I went through some old albums and suddenly realized that I now have this car in my garage here in Sweden.

The car probably went through some owners in the US before it got here but I would love to know some history. Does anyone know anything about this car? Do you recognise the seller?

The car has en export VIN so it might have been imported into the US. From what I can tell it has always been LHD.

Nice roadster! Looks like a chopped top and different wheels, otherwise unchanged.
