    I was at a junkyard a few weeks ago looking at a car with that steering wheel and wondering if I could get it on my GM column in my '50 and how it would look. It looks damn good! What car is it from?

    Nice! It makes me want to have better interior than the painted metal floors and Wal-Mart leopard print fabric I've got right now!

    It's a 59-60 Olds wheel and column. The problem with useing that wheel with any other column is that it is about a foot deep. Without the little short column it will sick up pretty far.

    i tried to weld the old interior back together... didn't work out very well!

    That green piping looks awsome and has to pull together perfect with the outside.

    In the first picture you can see a pair of vicegrips being used for a door handle. I put them there when I painted the car and forgot to take them off when I took the car back.
