I remember going to the Fox Theatre to watch a Blazer game with my Dad. He gave me the choice of going in his '84 Monte Carlo SS company car or the family '74 C10 454 pickup. I chose the pickup

Well, there you go. Thought it looked like a Kennedy but wasn't sure. Acts like one anyway.

I love Roy Orbison. I got to see him at the New Orleans Jazz Fest in the 80's as well and I am really glad i did. He was standing a few feet from me before the show and I wish I had told him how much I enjoy his music.

Not only did Studebaker dealers often carry Packards, but Mercedes as well. Studebaker was the sole distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles from about 1958 through 1963

  7. I'm thinking it could be traffic light controllers of olden time. They were inside a steel cabinet close by and if you were close bye you could hear the mechanism doing it's thing.

Nope sorry it just said "Technician" at work. Back in the day technician was really someone special. I couldn't figure it out either.

Could be if you stood them on end like they were hanging the would be about the correct size for traffic lights.

I remember the car very well. You always kept it in excellent condition. I also liked Vic Bova's 64

  18. Bova's was dark blue. I only kept mine for nine months. It was never the same after Frank Sollito backed into it. Man time fly's!

  21. Days are long gone since anybody that high up could just casually hang out in front of the drive-in without Secret Service covering them like flies.

  26. Have some respect! That's Robert Kennedy, the car is part of his campaign motorcaide.
    NOT "someones fender".
Cell phone???!! Not invented until DECADES later!
    LOL
How about you leave your political comments off the HAMB?
You can post on Yellow Bullet if you must.

    Are we done yet?

I hesitate to respond because the last thing I want is for this thread to be shut down for non-H.A.M.B. related shit slinging.

However, that being said, my initial post did not reference the Kennedy's. Although I did think he looked like Bobby, I didn't know it was him until someone else pointed it out. My comment was about someone that had their feet up on someone's fender and had the appearance of being on a cell phone when he was obviously eating ice cream from a cup.

Can't we all just get along ?
