Made it home from the Lafayette/ Texas trip last nite about 10:00. Will spend the day scrubbing bugs and road film off of the old girl, I mean old car, the old girl was sitting next to me, and tightening nuts and bolts. We hit some nasty bumps on the back roads, developed some rattles and noises that were not there before. Had a great trip and fantastic weather but it sure is good to be HOME!! See y'all tomorrow.

IMG_20161015_132607671.jpg We had about 24 cars do the cruise today. A handful showed up also in Granite Falls, it was nice to meet a few of you today. We hope you had fun. If we did this again next fall would there be interested? The Fagen family that owns the museum enjoyed having us out. We were lucky enough to get to see 3 planes in their collection fly today!!!
I will post videos Monday when I'm on my computer.

    Thanks Tim

We had a great time yesterday! Old Planes are like Old Cars, they are just KOOL. We do the "Fly In" at the Hector Airport every year, always the 3rd. Sunday in September. Everything from Lear Jets to Bi Planes, over 150 planes every year. Count us in for this cruise next year! Thanks for the videos, that ride in the Deuce was way cool!!

Scoop, upon further investigation, looking at old pics from the Lone Star Round Up, I came to the conclusion that we have met before. You and a Buddy drove your trucks to the Round Up several years ago, if memory serves me correctly, he was driving a 47/54 type Chev pick up. Couldn't find a pic of his, just yours. That 6 cylinder really stands out, nice ride!!

I am still working on videos, I was out of town last week and have had issues with my storage system on photobucket. The pictures are working but not the videos.... I will sit down some night and try to get to the bottom of it.

  24. Eric, your Uncle Jim's 49---what does it have for a motor? I noticed the duel exhaust and the Lokar shifter. I never got a chance to talk to him, but it had my interest. Bob
