A couple of items I did this week for one of my best customers. The tool box is going to be mounted on the wall in his garage. The tail gate is for his son's Model A roadster pickup;and the Bantam nose panel is another wall hanger for his wife's American Bantam roadster currently being restored.

 

I hope you Ford and Chevys guys don't hate this. I'm just a car guy that likes anything with wheels. lol I think it is fun to draw stuff that either doesn't exist, or no one would build. Excellent Jokem. I'm a little nuts kinda thing...but it was fun!

 

More gas station underground petrol tank caps/ tobys/ lids, call em what you like.
These are cast iron, and have casting imperfections, so not as easy to paint as you would think.

 

More Killer Littles sketches

 

A late addition, a watercolor and colored pencil sketch.

 

Those are definitely unique and painting them is a great artistic idea.

 

Dan, I've been doing them for my sparky.
He spends big money for them, and some date back to the thirties.
Here's the latest one I'm doing.
Will finish masking after lunch, and have it done by end of next week.

 

Havnt painted in a while, this is the first one I've done in a couple years. Hopefully be able to crank out one a week threw the winter

...and for the something bigger, a messy construction of a Ponty Chief. I enjoy doing these sketches, somewhat challenging.

 

Thanks i try to do something different each winter, intypically only have the time to paint in the cold months. I guess we'll see where it goes. I'm trying to limit my palette to a warmer set of tones and create a smoother gradiant that my last couple seasons of work.
