This was the last Hot Rod dad finished for himself. My profile pic is him and this car merged together. P1110385.JPG P1110436.JPG P1110440.JPG P1110449.JPG

Maybe I should do a tribute to him. He built quite a large number of cars in this area over the years. This one is traditional to the bone. I'll put something together.

  19. Hey zombie,

Your dad built a great looking car and put the right style on it. To me it's one of the coolest cars on this thread. It's simple but awesome at the same time. Great eye to coolness. I would love to see more of his builds. Put that thread up and show the world his hard work. I dig it and I know many else will.
    Thank you. Bruce.

  20. Also zombie I love the one fog light. Makes me wonder if he ever shut all lights off and kept that fog light on to out run the law. Haulin shine and haulin ass is what I see in this roadster plus the drilled axel to save weight... Cool beans I'm just day dreaming of the possibilities.

Picked it up from a farm here in oz for $1000. Nearly went for scrap. Search "I'm here to pick up the rubbish" has the story in a bit of detail.

I envy your roadster. Looks like it could be a Henry Ford body and frame. Is it?

Ontario is a big place, what part are you in?

The windshield is a one off, the history is sort of milky. All I really know is it came off a roadster in Indiana and was sold to a big collector in the Denver area where it remained for many years until I got it with the car. Yes it's all Henry except for the passenger door. I am in SW Ontario, just outside of a little town called Blenheim. What about you?

Beautiful car, I still have that magazine.

  28. Ontario is big. I'm about 350 miles north, and there's still another 650-700 to go to MB border. Like your cars, someday I'll get the Victoria(34) on the road.
