  4. Roy also posted on the FEForum. I was really informed by his posts and enjoyed his comments and narrative.
A statement on the FEForum said it was a heart attack..
    RIP Roy

I hadn't checked in here in a few days but heard the news from Porkshop tonight. This is a real bummer, I was hoping to finally meet Roy in person at the CHRR this coming weekend. :(

Looks right for the car. It's a highriser. The intake on mine looks just like it. Maybe the angle of the shot makes it look a little odd.

This is a real shame. Roy definitely did his part to keep the Comets alive, racing , talking online etc. I never got a chance to meet Roy, I always wanted to see his Comet go.

Great video. I never had the pleasure to meet Roy, but on several occasions he commented on some of my posts and he always had good insight into things that might improve my comet's performance and was complimentary of the car. Sorry I was never able to meet him. My condolences to his family and friends.

  23. Roy was my cousin. What a shock it was when his sister called us Saturday Morning. It really came without warning. That is a Great photo of the Comet. He has had that car since we where teenagers in the late sixties.
Miss you Big Guy. RIP Roy...

I saw the Canary race many times at Englishtown in the mid 1960's. It was quite formidable and usually won.
