I don't think I will get that carried away.

I am just going to take off the Plymouth badge, make a stainless filler piece and drill a large enough hole to mount a cole herese round jewel light.

Not building a riddler contender, just don't want to get rear ended by some soccer mom on her phone.

So few people know what the term Renaissance man even means. Glad to know there are a few out there besides myself.

IMG_1369.JPG Tortured drivers door. Patched, beat, and first fill done. I still hate sanding filler.

Hey Matt, I was organizing some crap and I found the tin trim pieces that go around the inside of the door opening to hold the upholstery in place. They were from my old '34 truck. Do you need them? Or are you still being a pansy because you got your feelings hurt?

If that was your attempt at an apology you do it about as well as you fix cars.

    Hahahahaha.......

Nice response....... so....... yes, you have your widdle feelings hurt. You're a sensitive little dude. And apparently you don't need the trim pieces. That's fine. And apparently my ability to "fix cars" falls far below your immense talent. I'm not sure where you saw me fixing cars since we live half a province apart but I'll take your word for it. You may to install double doors on your shop so your ego can get in and out. Have a nice day.

Or maybe mount the lights onto the box supports a little more inboard from where they are? Hmmm......

I vote for the center-mounted plate, looks more balanced. Fantastic job on this build, you are one talented guy.

I'll go for the center too and you need the nerf bar to protect that pretty backside.;)

I've always enjoyed this thread. Ingenious repair on that grill insert, to bad your not using it, but the new grill looks great. The other grill will be a cool wall hanger until you find a use for it. Like your other stuff too, but its to early and nothing specific comes to mind. Keep at it!
