Hi all, I'm looking to replace the speedo and gauges in my 49 Chevy 3100. I've used Dolphin gauges in my other cars and found them to be great. Would the 5" pair fit in the dash without any cutting or modifying? I've seen quite a few trucks for sale with this gauge setup so assumed it to be a straightforward swap.
    Cheers, Ron.

If you have a dolphin, use Dolphin gauges.

    In Miami they're traditional.

Gauges are super important to me... I just can't get myself to run new gauges in an old car.

I'm running New Vintage. The are a bit pricey but I ordered them from Summit when they had they on sale for 10% off bringing them down to $575. I've seen them on sale there one other time...might keep your eye peeled.

I just recently got them installed and hooked up. I did send the quad gauge back to them to have the fuel gauge converted from 280-33 ohm to 0-90 ohm to work the the fuel pump/sender unit in my tank. Really good customer service. So far no complaints.

Dolphins are not fish. They are mammals, like you and me.

Silly question, (on my part), what's wrong with the factory gauges?
