  1. Your work as a builder and a photo journalist are both nice.

Very impressive skills with primitive tools (compared to what's available with cubic dollars). Nice work!
Very creative. Wish I had vision like that.

  3. Thanks everyone!

Yeah the white 250 is mine and the red 450 is my mate Steves. We don't race them, but they're just about the most fun way to commute around the island! (on the back wheel mainly ;))

After 6 years i've finally picked a colour! I had the grille shell painted first so that i could be sure about it before we go ahead and do the whole body. I also got a new stainless steel insert, really happy with how it looks.

I am excited to see this car come together. I have been following along for a long time. Excellent craftsmanship! I wish I was as good.

I know he slept in this morning... And he's been busy getting a business off the ground and playing with race boats, successfully I might add!

I bet he sold it. Like any artist, he completed the piece and now wants to move on to another project. It has been six years since the last post. Just to finish this up, does anybody have any other pictures of the finished car?

Thanks for the pictures. I only surmised that it was sold because he didn't post about it for six years and he really seemed into the build. Absolutely awesome build and incredible attention to detail and all without major tools.

  23. Yeah I finished it in 2019, but the photo hosting on here went a bit cockeyed so I kinda gave up on the updates.

It’s won a few trophies since it’s been done and ended up on the cover of custom car magazine in the Uk so I certainly can’t complain.

Thank you all for the kind words

Absolutely great car! Seeing the photos just puts an additional pinch of salt in the wound I got when I sold my A coupe. Seller's remorse.

  30. Hi guys.
Neil is a mate of mine who I’ve known for years, as we both live on the same island.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been off work recovering from an operation on my left shoulder.
I can’t really do anything except go for a walk or sit around being bored.
I’ve been meaning to paint/draw Neil’s coupe ever since it hit the roads, but never had the time…..well, I’ve got the time now!

    Luckily I’m right handed! :)
