I think the packards must have copied the dodge trucks I wonder if the radical custom did not start out as a packard? The bumpers are pretty close also, but roof line on this 55 is totally different.
It started as a 53 chevy. Built by voodoo Larry out side Chicago. If I remember right it's all metal no filler. It used to be flat. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
That may be, but it would be minimal. Larry Grobe is a meticulous craftsman with mega-talent, as the metal work seen in this construction shot of his "Voo Doo Sahara" will attest.
Yes, but go dig out a bare metal pic of the Kreeper from years back. If you looked at the above pic of his sahara you would think two different folks did the work. Folks improve. Not a slam, just a reality. Kinda like it in shiny paint now, love to see it photochopped into some subdued darker colors.
COOOL MERC... Hey, check out the color-coordinated blonde! Remember when chicks dressed like their cars? Like Terri Gar, and her 450 Mercedes, painted in the same pattern as her pant suit? I did up a Hudson Headlamp trick with two Darth Vader helmets. Guys said, "Packard? Merc?" The breathing gave it away...
And that voodoo Sahara has alot of mud too. That dude posts picks of them in filler. Go check the car out with a magnet. I do body work for a living, if you want a car straight, there will be filler in it. No questions about it. I'm not cutting down his work, people just need to realize that metal work in pictures is VERY deceiving. Sent from my SM-G920R6 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
